Happy Pride Month everyone~

This is a bit different for me personally. Normally I celebrate for my friends who are apart of the LGBT community as an ally, but I can proudly celebrate my own pride this year!
I'm sure many of you are unaware, but I've been bi/pan curious for the past couple of years. I never felt confident enough with my feelings on the topic because I had never actually fell for another guy or shared intimate feelings with another guy before. It just felt weird to me to talk the talk but have never walked the walk, ya know?
Recently last year though, I was able to explore those feelings a bit and learned a lot about myself sexually. It was invigorating and it felt like I had finally proven to myself I wasn't crazy for feeling the way I did. I was being honest to myself finally and it helped me love myself a lot more. I'm not going to go into all the details or rant forever about it, but it felt so wonderful to be able to tell my partner and family what I was afraid to admit to them. Now, I'm comfortable being myself without concern.

Due to complications with my employer's policy, I've been stuck without pay for nearly two weeks now and it looks like I'll be facing a third soon thanks to delays with paperwork. Because of this, I am forced to open for commissions to try to survive until I am able to work and start making normal paychecks again. I will be taking up to three slots. I don't want to take more than I can handle so I'm sticking to three at most. If you are interested, please comment below or note me.

Out of Work for awhile...

TLDR; I hurt my back and I'm out of work. Gonna draw stuff while stuck at home.
So as most of you are aware, I usually have/had a pretty intense work schedule.
I work a factory job and my hours are 6:00am - 4:30pm everyday except Sunday. To top it all off, I live an hour away from my job. It basically leaves me with no free time except for Sunday... and when Sunday comes, I basically have to spend the entire day doing responsible adult things that need to be addressed before I get sucked into another work week. It's hard, but it's work that pays the bills.
However, I have recently I went to the doctor for some weird leg pain I've been experiencing. Basically I would have sharp pain that would start at my lower back and crawl down my entire leg, followed by an immobilizing numbness that would slowly wear off. After dealing with the issue for two weeks, I finally decided it wasn't getting better and I needed medical help. After the visit to the clinic, they had decided that I had probably done some damage to the muscles in my back that were irritating nerves in my leg. It's nothing serious, but they put me on medical restrictions while I take a combination of muscle relaxers and steroids to help with recovery. I can't lift anything over 10lbs (5kg) for two weeks.
So I called my employer to give them a heads up that the doctor wanted me to take the next couple of days off but I'd be able to return to work this Saturday as long as I took it easy. They immediately told me that due to company policy, I could NOT return to work with any medical restrictions.... so that means two weeks of no work, and no pay. So now I'm stuck at home waiting patiently as I await my claim for short term disability. Looking on the bright side though, this means I can relax a bit and do some drawing. Or try to at least.

Soooo I have an interview tomorrow for a job I desperately need. I bought some new clothes and shoes to wear for it, but I'm broke until my next paycheck and I really need to get a haircut. I would just go with my hair as is but I'm horribly afraid in might effect the decision of the hiring managers :/
